Subject: Last chance to book a place for Cambridge 2012
Apologies for cross-posting
Cambridge 2012 combines OER12 and OCW Consortium’s Global Conference to form a unique opportunity to engage with the Open Education movement. International speakers include Sir John Daniel, President & Chief Executive Officer, Commonwealth of Learning, Stamenka Uvalić-Trumbić, former Head of Higher Education at UNESCO and Prof Richardus Eko Indrajit, President of APTIKOM-OCW Indonesia, and there will be many further presentations with debate exploring the latest Open Education initiatives from around the world.
The Open Education movement looks to the use of Open Educational Resources (digitised materials offered freely and openly for educators, students and self-learners to use and reuse for teaching, learning and research) as the basis for creative solutions to the challenges faced by education systems across the globe.
With just a few places left, this is the last opportunity to book onto the Conference. The closing date for registrations is 31 March 2012. For more information or to register visit http://conference.ocwconsortium.org/index.php/2012/uk.
