Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for RAISE 2015 "Inspiring Innovation". Hosted this year at the Nottingham Conference Centre on 10th and 11th of September.    *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* RAISE has always been, and intends to remain, at the leading edge of student engagement (SE) in Higher Education. For our main theme in 2015 we want to showcase creative and innovative practices, policies, and ideas. We will hear about novel and radical approaches – the sort of ideas that inspire students and staff, and refresh our thinking.  Our sub-themes for this year's conference are: Inspiring new practice Radical approaches in the classroom designed to inspire and engage students Extracurricular innovations that draw in students not normally attracted (or perhaps in some way excluded) to such opportunities Mainstreaming and embedding Innovations in developing communities of staff and students Scaling-up creative practices to departmental or institutional level Changing thinking Proposing novel conceptual frameworks or adapting older theories and ideas to further our understanding of SE and related issues Innovative ways to persuading staff colleagues to adopt SE or partnership practices *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Please see our website for details and links to electronic and paper booking.
