An introduction to the NUS Academic Support Benchmarking Tool

The fourth in NUS's series of learning and teaching benchmarking tools, this new resource aims to present key principles of good academic support from a student perspective. Each of the ten principles has five levels of suggested practice, from "first steps" to "outstanding", allowing institutions to benchmark their practice and get ideas for enhancement. The tool is designed to start conversations between students and staff and lead to tangible improvement in the provision of academic support for students.
The webinar will introduce you to the finalised resource (some of you may have had the opportunity to feed back on the draft principles at an earlier CRA event), as well as giving you the chance to consider how you could use the tool with students at different levels of your institution. The webinar is also an opportunity to feed back to, and ask questions of, the tool's creator Kate Little, Senior Project Officer, NUS .
