There's still time to book your place on the third UCISA Spotlight on Digital Capabilities Conference, 24-25 May 2017 at The Spark, Southampton Solent University.
The programme is now finalised and is packed with a variety of sessions exploring the Spotlight on digital capabilities: student futures theme and examining ways to help prepare students for a digital future. There will be opportunities to hear from students themselves, as well as presenters from within and outside the HE sector.
We are delighted to have speakers from near – colleagues from the University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University will open the Conference by sharing their experiences of developing digitally savvy students – and from further afield, with Gill Ferrell continent-hopping to run fast and fun workshops covering aspects of the student journey.
Parallel sessions on the first day will allow you to choose the topics that interest you most from the programme, and the debate on the second day should spark some lively discussions as we debate whether employability is the key reason for developing student digital capabilities.
Please have a look at the speaker abstracts and profiles and the full programme.
If you support and promote digital skills development, then this event is of interest to you and will allow you to network with, and hear from, colleagues in roles such as IT trainers, learning technologists, library and IT staff and educational developers.
The previous events in 2015 and 2016 sold out so book now to make sure you don't miss out.
We look forward to seeing you in May.
