Specifically, it considers neuromyths, and investigates theory that can inform practice. The keynote speakers are Professor Tim Daley, University of Nottingham and Professor Tim Jay, Sheffield Hallam University.

Learning Design: Integrating Learning, Teaching and Student Support

 

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our annual conference, Research and Innovation in Distance Education and E-learning 2018, which will be held on Friday 16 March.

Learning Design for Student Success: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

 

This one day event explores new directions and developments in distance education and technology-enhanced learning. With a strong research focus it incorporates outputs from the CDE’s programme of Teaching and Research Awards. The programme features seminars  and workshops around the themes of  learning design, assessment, learning analytics, open educational resources and open educational practice, MOOCs and serious games.

 

Tickets are priced at £50 with free places for CDE Fellows, University of London International Academy staff and International Programme Community members from Member Institutions. Tickets can be reserved on our booking website.
