Final call for presentations – deadline 18 April 2019

Centre for Innovation in Higher Education (CIHE)

Annual Conference 2019

Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge campus), 10 July 2019

We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for our inaugural annual conference entitled 'Creative Approaches to Pedagogic Research' – an opportunity to share and learn about current innovative approaches to research-informed teaching and learning. Please visit Anglia Ruskin's online store to book your place.

Our keynote speakers are Prof Pauline Kneale (University of Plymouth) and Prof Mike Sharples (Open University), both of whom are Honorary Visiting Professors at CIHE.  We will also have two workshops from Dr Mark J. P. Kerrigan (Plymouth College of Art, Honorary Visiting Fellow at CIHE) and Prof Gina Wisker (University of Brighton).

The call for presentations is open until 18 April 2019: we invite contributions of 30 minutes focussing on any of the below three strands, which underpin CIHE's mission, or other creative approaches to pedagogic research.

·         Digital Futures

·         Active Learning

·         Design Thinking Pedagogy

We encourage innovative use of the 30 minute time slot including (but not limited to):

·         Micro-teaching

·         Short practice workshop 'How to…'

·         Interactive debate and discussion

Please submit your proposal using this form by 18 April 2019. Please note it is our intention to publish contributions as chapters in an edited volume in 2019/20.

If you have any queries or questions, please contact us via cihe@anglia.ac.uk.

Best wishes,
