Our keynote speaker is the excellent Professor Ron Barnett from the Institute of Education / UCL. The conference will includes workshops, debates and discussions around the topic of learning and teaching in the 21st century university. How can academic and support staff ensure that students are supported throughout their degrees? How can we improve retention rates on our taught programmes? What does a 21st century university teacher look like? What's the role of learning technology? How can we support our students to become excellent and employable 21st century graduates?
Our themes for this year are:
o The student journey / learning journeys
o Retention, retention, retention
o Stragglers and strugglers / the role of student support
o Making the most of technology
o Employability and the curriculum

Kind regards
