Presenter Dr Simon Lygo-Baker Senior Lecturer, University of Surrey
Dr Simon Lygo-Baker has run a series of ILTHE/HEA accredited programmes and is currently running a new academic development programme at Surrey. Simon provides guest sessions at a number of other institutions, has a role of Visiting Professor at the University of Wisconsin and speaks regularly at national and international conferences.

About the seminar:
Are HEA accredited programmes just hoops to clear, do they genuinely change practice? This seminar will open up debate about the real impact and relevance of academic development. It will raise questions and challenge the basis for certain aspects of academic development.
