It will also examine the impact agenda in terms of identifying, evaluating and enhancing it within the postgraduate education sector.

The event will feature contributions from a wide variety of researchers and research developers who will discuss various aspects of the impact agenda including: the meaning of the impact agenda, incorporating impact in planning & evaluation and the practical challenges of evaluating impact in educational/research programmes. It will also be an opportunity for academic staff, research administrators and post-docs to consider current thinking and future directions, to share experiences across disciplines and to debate the implications for the REF and beyond.

The workshop will also include the launch of ‘Achieving Impact in Research’ a new book edited by Prof Pam Denicolo (Sage 2013).  All delegates who attend the event will receive a copy of the publication as well as a delegate pack, lunch and refreshments.
