Fwd: Writing development for employability one-day workshop. Free places. 16 Feb 2012, Bath, England

Dear Colleagues

Dr Barrie Cooper (University of Exeter) and myself (University of Bath) are running a one-day workshop that considers forms of engagement with students on undergraduate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) courses.

The day has a broad focus in addressing employers' interests, but a major element is supporting undergraduates' writing development to meet both academic and employability needs.

The workshop is funded by the National HE STEM programme and free places are available, with refreshments and lunch provided. For further information, and to book, go to
http://www.hestem.ac.uk/event/he-stem-event/employability-skills-STEM-courses

We look forward, I hope, to seeing some of you there.

With best wishes, Trevor
