Diversifying Towards Decolonising the Curriculum
University of Winchester
Keynote Speaker Programme
From Monday 11th to Friday 15th October, the Learning and Teaching Development team at the University of Winchester are hosting our second institutional Decolonising the Curriculum event. The event will bring together our community of staff and students to continue to explore and examine what it means to work towards diversifying and decolonising our university curricula and learning environments.
We invite colleagues and students from across the sector to join us for our keynotes this year. Our keynote speakers, Dr Yujun Xu (University of East Anglia) and Dr Jason Arday (Durham University), consider the work needed to decolonise our curricula, as well as the approaches we might take and the questions we must explore to dismantle racial inequity in the Academy and on our campuses.
For further information about each of our keynote speakers and their talks, and to register your attendance at these sessions*, please see the attached keynote speaker programme.
If you have any questions about the event or the registration process, please email Juliet.Winter@winchester.ac.uk
*Note: all sessions will be delivered via MS Teams and you will be sent the relevant Teams meeting link once you have registered your attendance.
Best wishes,
Juliet
