Fwd: 15th European Conference on Game Based Learning (ECGBL 2021)





Preparations for the 15th European Conference on Games Based Learning - (ECGBL 2021) being supported virtually by ACI and the University of Brighton, UK on 22nd – 24th September are now almost complete and we are looking forward to a successful conference. We confirm that the conference this year will be an interactive, virtual/online event.
Registration to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant is open and costs only £50 (+VAT).
Benefits of attending include:
•       access to a wide range of live presentations on different approaches to Games Based Learning from around the world.
•       Topical keynote presentations from:
•       Pete Jenkins, CEO of Gamification+ Ltd on the topic: Seven Steps to Gamification Success
•       Diana Laurillard, Professor of Learning with Digital Technology at UCL Knowledge Lab, University College London on the Topic: A Constructionist approach to games for conceptual change
•       Presentations for the 9th International Educational Games Competition.
•       Interactive networking sessions
•       an electronic version of the Conference Proceedings
•       Conference sessions will be recorded and participants will have access to these after the event.

We are also running Two Virtual workshops on the 22nd of September 2021. All workshops will be interactive learning experiences being conducted using Zoom.
