Inaugural Lecture by Professor Megan Lawton
Intentional Content - creating a learning exhibition within a flipped learning approach. Tue, 21 April 2020, 17:00 – 18:00, by MS Teams
Megan
writes: 'I am not offering a traditional inaugural lecture given the
current situation; instead I would like to invite you to an inaugural
webinar that offers a way of thinking about designing an online learning
‘exhibition’. I am going to encourage colleagues
to consider the response they would receive if they asked ‘Alexa, what
do lecturers do?'. The approach to this webinar draws on research using
appreciative inquiry and will utilise the principles of a flipped
learning approach.
'The
Flipped Learning Network identifies ‘The Four Pillars of F-L-I-P™’;
Flexible learning environment, a change in Learning cultures,
Intentional content, and the
Professional Educator. This webinar concentrates on the ‘I’,
intentional content and the ‘P’ the professional educator.
