We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our annual conference, Research and Innovation in Distance Education and E-learning 2017, which will be held on Friday 24 March.
Our two keynote speakers for this year will be:
Professor Anne Boyer, University of Lorraine, Nancy.
Anne Boyer is a Professor of Computer Science at Université Nancy 2, France. She heads a research team called KIWI (Knowledge, Information and Web Intelligence) at the LORIA laboratory. Her teaching and research interests include recommender systems, user modeling as well as interdisciplinary approaches to personalization of e-services.
Simon Nelson, CEO, Futurelearn.
Simon Nelson is Chief Executive of FutureLearn, the social learning platform and first UK-based provider of massive open online courses (MOOCs).
This one day event explores new directions and developments in distance education and technology-enhanced learning. It has a strong research focus and incorporates outputs from the CDE’s programme of Teaching and Research Awards. The programme features seminars, workshops and showcases around three themes: Open Educational Resources, Massive Open Online Courses, and Innovation.
Tickets are priced at £50 with free places for CDE Fellows, University of London International Academy staff and International Programme Community members from Member Institutions. Tickets can be reserved on our booking website.
