FW: UK Academic Advising and Personal Tutoring Network One-Day Conference

Academic Advising and Personal Tutoring Conference – 25 March 2015

The University of Sheffield is proud to host the launch of a UK Allied Group of NACADA through a one-day conference event on the 25th of March, 2015.

NACADA, the Global Community for Academic Advising, promotes student success by advancing the field of academic advising. NACADA provides opportunities for professional development, networking and leadership for their diverse membership. The launch will feature key sessions from noted professionals in NACADA, including Charlie Nutt and Jennifer Joslin. Its focus will extend to UK practices and contexts, helping to establish formal sharing of good practice and expertise across the UK and international HE sector.

With over 10,000 NACADA members across the world, an Allied UK Group is being formed to help support networking and professional development of UK colleagues. We are writing now to invite you to attend the event.

Further information and registration details are available from this website: http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/Events-Programs/Events/International-Conference/UK-Drive-In-Event.aspx.

The cost is only £49 and promises to be a useful and rewarding event.
