We are very pleased to announce the details for the SACWG 2013 seminar (Student Assessment and Classification Working Group) – the event will be held on Thursday 21st November 2013 and will be entitled:
"Reassessment and Progression: a survey of Level 4 regulatory practice"
SACWG will be reporting on their project 'Student academic failure and reassessment: policy and practice in UK Higher Education' which has been underway for a year. This should be of interest to academic staff and professional administrators working on institutional assessment policies and regulations. The event will be held at Liverpool John Moores University and bookings can be made via the weblink https://secure.worc.ac.uk/sacwg/.
Please find attached the flier which gives more details – it should prove to be another interesting and illuminating event with useful discussions and we do hope that you will be able to join us. The half-day seminar will commence with lunch and run through the afternoon.
We should be grateful if you could forward these details to other colleagues who may be interested. With apologies for any duplicate postings.
Kind regards
Marie
