Funding

JISC TechDis are delighted to be able to announce the third round of the JISC TechDis HEAT scheme. The HEAT scheme is aimed at non-accessibility-specialist staff, and is designed to provide staff with technology (hardware and / or software) with which to develop or uncover an example of good inclusive or accessible practice in their particular discipline or role area. All staff involved in HE or HE in FE (i.e. librarians, staff developers, learning technologists etc as well as academic staff) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are eligible to apply (my apologies to those in Scotland, I tried every avenue I could think of to find funding but sadly to no avail).

The deadline for submission of bids is TUESDAY 15th JULY - the maximum value of each bid is £2150. More details and a bid template can be found by following the link at www.techdis.ac.uk/getheatscheme where you will also find previous case studies to provide inspiration!
