We currently have 171 HE providers across the UK who are Quality Insights members. If your institution is not on the list when trying to register and you would be interested to find out more about the Quality Insights package, please don't hesitate to contact membership@qaa.ac.uk<mailto:membership@qaa.ac.uk>

The conference is taking place digitally at 10.15-13.45 on Tuesday 23 February 2021 and 13.00-16.45 on Wednesday 24 February.

This conference provides an opportunity for you to hear about ideas and practice from around the UK and across the world.

We will explore the post-pandemic future of higher education through keynotes, panel discussions and breakout sessions, focusing on three themes:

·       The Connected Curriculum which will explore making micro-credentials work (Prof. Beverley Oliver), identifying and evaluating what counts in HE where there are few metrics (Prof. Elizabeth Cleaver), humanising digital pedagogy (Sean Michael Morris), and modular qualifications and connected curricula (Prof. Sue Reece).

·       Student engagement and digital education which focuses on designing for the PGR student experience (Kabir Ganguly, Helen Brown and Sarah Montano), digital wellbeing and active learning (John Sumpter), student engagement in a digital world (Dr Camille B Kandiko), and student engagement and co-creation of the digital experience (Dr Cathy Bovill).

·       The future of digital pedagogies which considers the future of digital learning (Prof. David Carless) and hybrid and digital learning (Dr Brian J Beatty), social media and academic hierarchies (Dr Mark Carrigan), and a manifesto for teaching online (Prof. Sian Bayne).

We are delighted to welcome as keynote speakers Professor Beverley Oliver, Australian National Teaching Fellow, who will explore the design and quality assurance of micro-credentials on day one of the conference, and Professor David Carless, Professor of Educational Assessment, University of Hong Kong, who will focus on assessment and digital pedagogies on day two. You can join in the conversation by attending breakouts following each of the keynotes, where our speakers will be pleased to answer any of your questions and explore the topics further.

Not to be missed are the two panel sessions which will consider:

·       The future of the NSS and engagement with the student voice - with Prof. Cathy Bovill, Hillary Gyebi-Ababio, David Kernahon, and Prof. Karl Leydeker

·       Learning beyond the lecture hall: future challenges and opportunities - with Dr Brian J Beatty, Dr Camille Kandiko Howson, and Sean Michael Morris.
