The ucisa Digital Capabilities and Digital Education Groups invite you to the sixth Spotlight on Digital Capabilities conference on Wednesday 3rd June and Thursday 4th June 2020 at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre (BCEC) in Birmingham. This is a call for speakers at this event.
This year, we are focusing on students: 'Engaging students with digital capabilities'. The conference committee welcomes proposals for the following themes:
- Embedding digital capabilities in the curriculum
- Building digital capabilities for employability
- Developing digital capabilities with flexible learners (e.g. distance learners, commuter students, part-time, apprenticeships)
- Collaborating with staff and students on digital capabilities initiatives
We invite plenary speakers and parallel sessions from a wide range of roles, e.g. academic staff, academic development professionals, learning technologists, IT trainers, Library and other professional services, to share their experiences, practical advice, approaches and strategies to implement, embed and change institutions with our delegates.

Submissions will be reviewed by the conference committee. You will be contacted by email with the outcome of your proposal by week ending 10th April 2020.
