e-Portfolios for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
The use of portfolios in general and e-portfolios in particular in teaching and learning has been well documented and opinions vary as to their advantages (L Stefani, R Mason, C Pegler, 2007; BM Garrett, C Jackson - Nurse Education Today, 2006; AL Daunert, L Price - Discourses on Professional Learning, 2014). Nevertheless, they can, amongst other things, assist students with reflection on their learning strategies, document progress, enhance student autonomy and contribute to formative or summative assessment.
This one-day conference in collaboration with LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science) will look at e-portfolios from different angles: technology, assessment and their use in a variety of disciplines
Update: This event is now free!!! Please send an email to F.Starr-Egger@imperial.ac.uk or P.J.Skrandies@lse.ac.uk to register.
Apologies for multiple postings.
