With apologies for cross posting
We’re writing to let you know that the full programme is now available for the Surveys for Enhancement Conference on 16 May 2013 in central Manchester. You can see the programme and book your place at the conference by visiting: http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/events/detail/2013/16_May_S4E_conference_2013
This year we have keynote presentations from William Locke, Head of Learning and Teaching at the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), and Dr Mark Langan, Senior Learning and Teaching Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The conference is an opportunity to discuss how student experience surveys can best be used to inform enhancements to learning and teaching practice, policy and strategy. It’s intended to be of interest to a wide audience, including senior managers with learning & teaching roles, educational developers, survey officers, student unions, academic researchers and lecturers at the chalk face.
The programme as a whole, which focuses on the theme of “Satisfaction, engagement and enhancement – designing and using student surveys”, will deliver a diverse range of speakers and topics, including sessions focusing on student surveys in Ireland, Portugal and China, as well as a diverse range of approaches in the UK, including the use of engagement surveys.
If you’d like to attend or find out more, please book via http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/events/detail/2013/16_May_S4E_conference_2013 and please pass on this invitation to any colleagues who may be interested.
Bookings will remain open until the end of April, unless all places are filled before then.
