Fwd: RAISE 2012 Conference now open for Delegate Registration

Dear colleagues, 
We are very pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2012 Annual RAISE Conference: 
 

Student Engagement as a shared agenda: people, places, practices

 
This year the conference is being hosted by the University of Southampton on the 13th and 14th of September.  All the information about the conference and delegate rates can be found on our Ning site, or click  HERE for a direct link. 

In our second RAISE Conference we are adopting and applying our definition of student engagement as broad and holistic. Our three themes are chosen to capture innovative and exciting research, practice and ideas around: 

· The roles and activities of people in engaging themselves and others

· The places and contexts in which SE happens and how this is influenced by these contexts

· The practices of students and staff which foster (or impede) engagement

We welcome you to join us as we continue to open up discussion around SE and bringing innovative practice to the fore both nationally and internationally.

We particularly welcome students to the conference and note that registration for them is free.
