The conference looks at aspects of transition into higher education and how assessment and feedback can be used to enhance learning and to help students achieve the required standards.
 
The programme begins with Professor Mark Schofield, of
Edge Hill University, who will raise issues, provoke discussion and seek/share solutions related to our experiences of assessment 'that works.'

A second keynote by Professor Mantz Yorke, Visiting Professor at
Lancaster University, will look at the academic aspects of the 'transition challenge' including the language of assessment, expectations and understanding feedback.

Conference workshops will include case studies on a variety of topics including the use of technology to support transition and e-portfolios.

This conference presents an opportunity for anyone interested in assessment, learning and teaching to spend a day developing ideas to enable them to review, develop and reshape their thinking in this area.
 
There is a cost of £85 to attend this conference (payable online).
