Re: FW: [NTFS] learning and teaching conferences in July at Greenwich



(6th July 2010) 'Inspiring Learners: Equipping the Next Generation of
Graduates', will explore the interplay between learning, teaching and
employability. Delegates will be invited to reflect on how teaching and
learning is influenced by our increasingly demanding and competitive
world, and discuss the challenges and opportunities that this presents
in terms of teaching and engaging students.  Our keynote speakers are
David Robinson (OBE), co-founder of Community Links, and Professor
James Wisdom, Consultant in Educational Development in Higher
Education.

The deadline for proposals is Monday 26th April 2010.For more

(7th July 2010) 'Future Learningscapes: a 21st Century Challenge' will
examine the role of emerging digital technologies and literacies on
future learning scenarios. Delegates will hear from practitioners and
researchers about the use of technologies in their own teaching and
learning contexts and consider its impact on the design and delivery of
HE programmes in the future. Our keynote speakers are Professor
Grainne Conole; Professor of e-Learning, The Institute of Educational
Technology, and Bernhard Niesner and Adrian Hilti, Co-founders of
busuu.com - an innovative online community for learning languages.
