Fwd: [M25-LT-GROUP] Book your place! 17th annual Academic Practice and Technology (APT) conference, UCL, London

Remember to book your place for the 17th annual Academic Practice and Technology (APT) conference. The conference registrtion is available from https://aptconference.org.uk/index.php/apt/apt2019/schedConf/registration. The deadline is Wednesday 19th June (Early Bird is on Monday 10th June 2019).

The conference themed "The changing roles of educators in higher and further education: the shape of teaching today" is co-hosted by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University College London (UCL) and the University of Greenwich.

APT 2019 will critique, showcase and celebrate examples of academic practice that can inspire academic and professional services staff, working in higher and further education, to develop sustainable approaches to their teaching. Delegates will address critical questions such as: How can we help our students to thrive in the face of a buffeting digital maelstrom? Where can technology create distinctive possibilities? Where might it actually hinder learning?

The conference will be held on Monday 1st July 2019, at UCL and it will feature parallel sessions of presentations, workshops, case studies, field reports and plenary lectures from guest speakers. A description of the 4 themes that underpin this year's conference can be found at: https://aptconference.org.uk/index.php/apt/apt2019/schedConf/themes. Draft programme available on https://aptconference.org.uk/index.php/apt/apt2019/schedConf/program

We hope you will be able to join us again this year.
