Fwd: UP North Learning & Teaching Symposium - Registrations Open



The inaugural UP North Learning and Teaching Symposium, which will be hosted in York.

 

This year's theme is Inspiring Learning and the keynote speaker is Dr David Roberts from University of Loughborough who will explore the idea of Visionary Learning.

 

External delegates will be charged £30 (early bird) or £50 from 15th April onwards.

 

We're aiming to make the day as fun and exciting as possible with the following:

·         An alternative format for the keynote

·         Global engagement via the OneHE platform

·         Prizes for delegate participation

·         Competitions (and more prizes)

·         AR & VR in education technology showcase

·         Live performances

·         Session formats include presentations, workshops and Gimme 5 sessions

·         The symposium close will happen in the SU building (and the bar will be open!)

The call for proposals for our regional Learning & Teaching Symposium, Understanding Pedagogies (UP) North is now open. The deadline for submissions is Sunday 24th Feb 2019. The Symposium will take place on 7th June 2019 at York St John University, York, UK and online via the OneHE global network.
